Get Involved

Raising awareness about stroke and making sure the message reaches everyone in America is no easy task. Sean can't do it alone, and he needs your help

There are ways for you to get involved. Ride your bicycle with Sean as he goes past your city, donate to the American Heart Association's efforts to reduce strokes, and share Sean's story with your co-workers, friends and family.

Would you consider creating  your own page and becoming a fundraising champion for Sean and Heart Across America?  It's easy to set up your own page. Then simply  reach out to your friends/family/co-workers and ask for their support.  Set any heart healthy goal be it cycling, hiking, eating better or joining a gym. We would like to reward all fundraiser who raise over $1,000 with a custom Heart Across America Cycling vest. Click here to start the process!

If you are interested in volunteering and helping us with the campaign, send us a note through the Contact page.

If you can ride, there are two options:

Ride with Sean

Sean will be riding across America, about five thousand miles, and chances are he will be making a stop in your city. If you’re physically able to, come ride with him for an hour, a day, a week. Become part of this nationwide campaign by sign up below.

Ride for Sean

We understand that not everybody will be able to coordinate their ride with Sean's schedule. Ride for Sean by posting a photo of yourself on Facebook with the number of miles you've biked and challenging others to do the same!

Stroke takes someone’s life every 4 minutes. The American Heart Association has been fervently doing everything the organization can so that fewer Americans suffer from strokes and heart disease. They need your help.

Can’t ride or donate right now? No problem! Share Sean’s story with your friends and family. Learn about stroke, his struggle to recover, and urge your friends and family to do the same. Do something, anything to spread the word.
